Description
The UN 2507 Hazchem placard identifies vehicles transporting chloroplatinic Acid, Solid, classified as Class 8 under South African and international dangerous goods regulations.
Hazchem placards are mandatory signboards fitted to any vehicle transporting hazardous goods, giving emergency responders, transport inspectors, and other road users immediate identification of the cargo’s UN number and hazard class. Where a vehicle carries multiple products from different hazard classes, the placard must clearly display the relevant UN number — in this case, UN 2507.
Legal requirement: placards must not be displayed on an empty vehicle — remove or cover the placard once the load has been offloaded.
Available in two sizes to suit your fleet:
- Bakkie (GVM under 3,500kg): 350 x 200mm
- Truck (GVM over 3,500kg): 700 x 400mm
Choose from ABS, Chromadek steel insert (durable, holder-mounted), or self-adhesive sticker (direct vehicle application), depending on your existing placard holder setup.
